About Robert
Robert Driver is a national leader in non-profit leadership and executive search. As an executive recruiter, he has broad experience leading executive searches for education, healthcare, and other non-profit organizations. As a long-tenured fundraising executive, he has overseen and participated in the recruitment of many professionals from the C-Suite to fundraising and other staff.
Robert served in nonprofit and advancement leadership roles for over 30 years including substantive tenures with leading healthcare, higher education, and arts organizations. In those roles, he led and served on leadership teams for numerous successful campaigns ranging from $25 million to $1.4 billion. In addition, he provided fundraising and advancement executive search consulting to more than 30 organizations across the nonprofit spectrum. In his appointments, Robert worked with board, executive leadership, and development colleagues to significantly increase donor and prospect engagement and grow annual, major, and planned giving. His leadership always resulted in significant program growth.
Joining The Batten Group Executive Search & Consulting in 2022, Robert brings his expertise to a national executive search and consulting firm helping clients in identifying and recruiting top talent in higher education, healthcare philanthropy, and voluntary health.
Robert has been active in nonprofit volunteer leadership as well. He served two full terms on the Board of CFRE International - the primary fundraising credential - including two years on the executive committee. He also served on the University of Missouri Alumni Association Board of Trustees and twice served on its Strategic Planning Committee. Robert and his wife of 27 years, Jamie, live in St. Louis and have two daughters and two spoiled canines. Robert enjoys watching and participating in many sports. He is also a trained classical signer and a drummer who enjoys a wide palette of musical expression. His favorite literature is American History biography.
